Perhaps you've already guessed it from the name of our company, or maybe you've
come across our About Us page and discovered where
our inspiration comes from. Well, the answer is the sea,
the element that makes our imagination run wild.
The vastness of the oceans, the roar of the waves, the sea foam, the
walks along the beach and the feel of the sand are just some of the things
that inspire and drive us to keep creating.
A natural treasure admired by so many, which is why we didn't want to
miss the chance to help you create a nautical-themed
wedding. Take note of these tips!
1. A wedding by the sea
A truly nautical wedding would be one held right by the sea or on a
beautiful beach, but if you don't have the option of a venue with that
backdrop there's no problem, there are plenty of other
details that can create a magical seaside atmosphere without
needing to live near the coast or plan a destination wedding.

2. Shades of blue for a nautical wedding
You've probably thought of blue the moment you saw this heading,
makes sense. However, the sea and the oceans are much
more than a single colour. Navy, Klein blue, ecclesiastical blue, or perhaps aquamarine?
The sea is also the camel tone of nautical rope, the orange of the
coral and the white of the foam, don't forget that. You don't have to settle
on just one colour, you can mix them all. Play around with combinations and
you'll get it right.

3. Flowers in nautical decor
Flowers are present at every important moment in our
lives, and a wedding is no exception. Whatever style
you choose, they give the decor a fresh, elegant feel. If you want to
stick with the blue-and-white theme, you could go for hydrangeas, peonies, hyacinths,
campanulas, water lilies and much more.

4.Nautical decor details
Luckily, there's a whole host of decorative objects that can enhance that
lovely nautical aesthetic. For example: shells, ship's wheels,
starfish, lighthouses… You can place them in the ceremony, on the tables, on
the wedding cake etc.

5. Seafood on your wedding menu
The sea is admired not only for its outward beauty, but also for its
inner riches. It's home to countless marine species that are the
finest fare for food lovers. Fish and seafood
are, for many, a real treat for the palate.
At weddings, this can appear in the form of food corners, such as
an oyster bar at the cocktail hour, or as the main course at
dinner. Or both, it's your choice!

6. The sound of the waves, music to your ears
You've probably heard the song titled “Háblame del mar
marinero”, and for many singers and writers, the sea has time and
again been their source of inspiration for some of their
finest lyrics and verses.
If you have a favourite song on your playlist that fits this
theme, don't hesitate to play it at some point during your
wedding. It'll all fall perfectly into place!

7. Nautical wedding stationery
Your wedding stationery can also be a key element in planning a
nautical wedding. Paper can be just as lively as the waves of the
sea if you choose the right elements.
